BiloVet® Soluble Powder contains tylosin tartrate, a macrolide antibiotic, and is indicated for oral use in chickens, turkeys, swine, and honey bees. In chickens, it aids in treating chronic respiratory disease (CRD) associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae. In turkeys, it reduces the severity of infectious sinusitis caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum. For swine, BiloVet® is used to treat and control swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and to control porcine proliferative enteropathies (PPE) associated with Lawsonia intracellularis. In honey bees, it controls American Foulbrood caused by Paenibacillus larvae. The powder is mixed with drinking water, and dosing varies by species and condition. Fresh medicated water should be prepared every 3 days, and all treated animals should consume an adequate amount to receive a therapeutic dose. It is not for use in egg-producing layers or honey production during treatment. Always follow veterinary guidance when administering this product.
