Bovi-Shield® GOLD 5 is a modified-live virus vaccine formulated to protect healthy beef and dairy cattle against respiratory diseases caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, parainfluenza 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV). Administer a single 2 mL dose subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Safe for pregnant cows and nursing calves when prior vaccination protocols are followed.

Bovi-Shield® GOLD 5, developed by Zoetis, is a freeze-dried, modified-live virus vaccine designed to protect healthy cattle against respiratory diseases caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, parainfluenza 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV). Administer a single 2 mL dose subcutaneously or intramuscularly. A duration of immunity of at least 9 months has been demonstrated against IBR and BVD Types 1 and 2 when administered subcutaneously. The vaccine is safe for pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows, provided the dams were vaccinated according to label directions with any Bovi-Shield GOLD FP® or PregGuard® GOLD FP vaccine within the past 12 months. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Store at 2°–8°C and avoid freezing. Always consult a veterinarian for appropriate vaccination protocols and ensure proper handling and storage of the vaccine.
