$165.99 $168.00Draxxin (tulathromycin) Injection 100 mg/mL is a single-dose, long-acting antibiotic for cattle and swine, treating respiratory diseases like BRD and SRD, as well as IBK and foot rot in cattle. Its rapid absorption and extended efficacy reduce the need for multiple treatments.
Draxxin (tulathromycin) Injection 100 mg/mL is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic designed to treat and control respiratory diseases in livestock. In cattle, it effectively addresses bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, and Mycoplasma bovis. It also treats infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) associated with Moraxella bovis and foot rot due to Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphyromonas levii. In swine, Draxxin is indicated for swine respiratory disease (SRD) caused by pathogens such as Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus parasuis, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Administered as a single subcutaneous injection in cattle or intramuscular injection in swine at a dosage of 2.5 mg/kg body weight (1.1 mL per 100 lbs), Draxxin offers up to 14 days of therapeutic levels in cattle, minimizing the need for repeated handling. Withdrawal times are 18 days for cattle and 5 days for swine before slaughter. Draxxin is not approved for use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older or in calves intended for veal.
