Excenel RTU EZ 50 mg/mL Injection is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic formulated for cattle and swine. In cattle, it's indicated for treating bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni; foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus; and acute postpartum metritis within 0–14 days post-calving. In swine, it's used for swine respiratory disease (SRD) linked to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis, and Streptococcus suis.

The formulation allows for intramuscular and subcutaneous administration in cattle and intramuscular use in swine. It's safe for lactating dairy cows, with no milk discard required. The meat withdrawal period is 4 days for cattle and 2 days for swine. Excenel RTU EZ's low-viscosity suspension enhances syringe ability, especially in colder conditions. Store at 15–30°C and use within 42 days after the first puncture.
