    Description

    Circumvent® PCV-M G2 by Merck Animal Health is a dual-action vaccine designed for healthy swine, targeting both Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (PCV2) and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. This vaccine aids in preventing viremia, reducing virus shedding, and minimizing lymphoid infections caused by PCV2, as well as decreasing lung lesions associated with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Notably, it's the only PCV2 vaccine approved for use in piglets as young as 3 days old, offering flexible dosing: either a single 2 mL intramuscular dose at 3 weeks of age or older, or two 1 mL doses starting at 3 days of age with a follow-up three weeks later. With a demonstrated duration of immunity for at least 20 weeks post-vaccination, Circumvent® PCV-M G2 provides a convenient, single-bottle solution without the need for mixing, ensuring efficient and effective disease management in swine herds.
