NeoMed® 325 Soluble Powder is an FDA-approved, broad-spectrum antibiotic formulated for livestock, including cattle (excluding veal calves), swine, sheep, goats, and growing turkeys. Each 100 g packet contains 71.4 g of neomycin sulfate, equivalent to 50 g of neomycin base. It is indicated for the treatment and control of colibacillosis (bacterial enteritis) caused by Escherichia coli susceptible to neomycin sulfate.

The recommended dosage is 10 mg of neomycin sulfate per pound of body weight per day, administered in divided doses for up to 14 days in cattle, swine, sheep, and goats, and for 5 days in turkeys. The powder dissolves readily in drinking water, ensuring consistent dosing and effective treatment. Withdrawal periods are 1 day for cattle, 3 days for swine, 2 days for goats and sheep, and 0 days for turkeys. NeoMed® 325 is not approved for use in veal calves or lactating dairy cattle over 20 months of age.
