Description

Arovyn™ Injectable Solution contains 100 mg/mL of tulathromycin and is indicated for use in beef, non-lactating dairy cattle, and swine. In cattle, it treats and controls bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, and Mycoplasma bovis; infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) associated with Moraxella bovis; and foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphyromonas levii. In swine, Arovyn™ is used to treat and control swine respiratory disease (SRD) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus (Glaesserella) parasuis, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. This single-dose injectable solution simplifies treatment protocols, reducing labor and stress on animals. Administration involves subcutaneous injection in cattle and intramuscular injection in swine, with specific dosing based on body weight. Arovyn™ is supplied in 50 mL, 100 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL vials and should be stored below 30°C (86°F), with excursions up to 40°C (104°F). Use within 84 days of the first puncture and puncture a maximum of 20 times. Not for use in chickens or turkeys.
