    Revolution (selamectin) Topical Solution is designed for puppies and kittens weighing up to 5 lbs and aged 6 weeks or older. This monthly prescription medication provides broad-spectrum protection against common parasites. It prevents heartworm disease and effectively treats and controls fleas (Ctenocephalides felis), ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), roundworms (Toxocara cati), and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme). The active ingredient, selamectin, is absorbed through the skin and enters the bloodstream, targeting parasites systemically. The application is straightforward: part the hair at the base of the neck and apply all the contents of the single-dose applicator directly to the skin. Revolution is generally well-tolerated; however, use with caution in sick, underweight, or debilitated pets. Regular monthly application ensures continuous protection, keeping your young pet healthy and free from harmful parasites.
